The Bahamas is comprised of 700 islands and over 2,000 rocks and cays, sprinkled over 100,000 square miles of ocean. The archipelago is an ecological oasis, boasting the clearest water on the planet. You can see your toes as easily as you can the world’s third largest fringing barrier reef!
SAMPLE ITINERARY
DAY 1
Fly into the Bahamian capital of Nassau and meet your luxury yacht at the nearby Paradise Island’s Marina. You will be greeted by your personalised crew for the week who will ensure that you quickly settle in to paradise. The afternoon can be spent relaxing at Paradise beach or if you are feeling more adventurous, perhaps try the multitude of water sports on offer. Enjoy dinner on board, taking in a colourful Bahamian sunset.
DAY 2
After breakfast, you will step off your yacht and on to the Atlantis Resort, where you will be playing your first round of golf at The Ocean Club. This 18-hole par 72 championship course stretches over 7,100 yards along the Oceanside's peninsula, where crosswinds challenge even the most experienced players. Spend the afternoon relaxing over a cocktail or two before a three-course meal aboard.
DAY 3
Your yacht will make the short journey along the coast to Clifton Bay this morning whilst you enjoy breakfast, alfresco. Today you will be playing the ultra-exclusive Lyford Cay Golf Course, normally reserved only for members and their guests. Canadian billionaire Edward Plunkett Taylor established this course on the northwest corner of New Providence Island in the late 1950s when he commissioned American architect Dick Wilson to lay out a lavish, championship standard golf course.
Spend the afternoon reminiscing onboard before dressing up for the evening’s entertainment.
DAY 4
Today you will be playing Albany Golf Course, designed by Ernie Els and home to the Hero World Challenge, a PGA TOUR tournament featuring a field of 18 of the world’s top professionals. To do the course justice, why not get there a little earlier to use the first-class practice facilities, including a 400-yard driving range, short game area with chipping and putting greens.
After your round, enjoy a spot of lunch in the grill room, followed by watching a film in the on-site movie theatre. If the game didn't go so well, there is always the option of having a lesson with renowned instructor Mitchell Spearman.
After dinner, retire to your room for a well-earned rest; the yacht will be cruising overnight to the Abaco Islands.
DAY 5
Wake up feeling fresh to play the Abaco Club on Winding Bay, rated the best golf course in the Bahamas. Classic links design features abound, from the pot bunkers that dot its rugged location in the dunes to the challenging, sloping greens. Designed to play firm and fast, this course is not your usual Caribbean holiday course. Bring your A-game—and your camera!
DAY 6
After breakfast, head out for some scuba diving - there are exceptional reefs only a short tender ride away. Explore Great Guana Cay’s beaches; the bluffs in the ocean side overlook the reef and have spectacular views.
After lunch, it’s time to play the Tom Fazio-designed Baker’s Bay Course, then head to Nipper’s Beach Bar for an infamous Nipper Juice to celebrate your final night. Jump back on board your yacht for an overnight cruise back to Nassau.
DAY 7
Today you will be chauffeur driven back to Lynden Pilling international Airport to return home after an unforgettable 7 days.
